Adsorption filters are the ideal solution for the treatment of effluents with medium-low concentrations of volatile organic solvents. This filtering unit is widely used in the purification of polluted aerosols such as hydrocarbon vapours in solutions, the result of the processing often contained in paints and adhesives.
The ladder, balcony and hoist equipment is available, which are essential to reach the top from which the new activated carbon is loaded. Big-bags containing activated carbon can be lifted into position by means of a hoist installed on the roof in larger filters.
For highly adsorbable pollutants (benzene, kerosene, fumes …), medium adsorbable (chlorine, acetone, ethylene …), poorly adsorbable (propane, ammonia …)
The Adsorption filter unit uses activated carbon to filter airflows contaminated by polluting gases but not by suspended particles. The operation is static and there are no mechanical or pneumatic parts.
