Advantages
Adsorption filters are the ideal solution to treat effluents with medium-low concentrations of volatile organic solvents. This filtering unit is widely used in the purification of polluted aerosols such as hydrocarbon vapors in solutions, the result of the processing often contained in paints and adhesives.
The adsorption filter forces the flow of polluted air through beds crammed with activated carbon contained within it. Following the complete exhaustion of the pollutant capacity of the activated carbon, the latter must be discharged and replaced. The filter is equipped with a ladder and balcony which are essential to reach the top from which the new activated carbons are loaded. Big-bag sacks containing activated carbon can be lifted into position by a hoist installed on the roof in larger filters.
