Oil mist filter: Filtration and purification of oil mists

Metal Working, always committed to offering complete and tailor-made solutions for its customers, has developed a definitive and 24-hour oil mist purification system to solve the typical problems of filtering this particular pollutant.

The product, entirely developed by our company, led to the design and construction of a prototype that underwent numerous and prolonged tests of efficiency and reliability with such satisfactory results as to lead us to the decision to file the product patent application. In fact, the latter solves the problems related to the separation of the oil particles contained in the polluted fog in an innovative and efficient way.

The system consists of a condenser pre-filter that captures the coarser particles leaving the smallest particulate, which passes to the refiner filter which has multiple levels of filtration: this process is used to expel clean air through the chimney or return it to the work environment where regulations allow it.

The advantages of our system are functional and economic because, compared to the filtering units already on the market, allows the user to operate more fluidly and efficiently. This advantage is connected to a specific technical feature: this filter does not require forced stops to restore machine operation, and can operate continuously thanks to the work that the condenser does.

In fact, for the filtration of oil mists, suction is interrupted to allow the liquid to overcome the resistance of the air that works in ascension; therefore, a second or third plant is needed to continue operating on multiple work shifts.

Instead, with the addition of the upstream condenser the filter can work continuously without other systems, thus obtaining a considerable economic advantage.

Finally, another advantage lies in the fact that all subsequent filtering phases benefit from the efficient work of the condenser, thus allowing less maintenance and greater overall operation.
